EffiTorch advances from technical ambition to measurable Dissemination and Communication

EffiTorch tackles industrial and energy-system decarbonisation by developing a microwave plasma torch that directly splits CO2 while converting bio-waste into syngas for synthetic fuels and chemicals. By combining high-temperature plasma processing with rapid quenching via the Reverse Boudouard Reaction, the project aims for higher carbon and energy efficiency and a scalable alternative to hydrogen-based Power-to-X pathways.

Dissemination Communication Phase-based strategy aligns with EffiTorch maturity

To translate the EffiTorch’s scientific advancements into visibility, understanding, and uptake, the developed Dissemination and Communication (DC) strategy, operationalises through a structured delivery system and a measurable monitoring approach. The strategy follows a three-phase structure; Initial awareness, targeted outreach, and strategic impact; so that outreach intensity increases in line with project maturity and stakeholder needs.

Operational delivery through coordinated content tracking

Implementation is supported by structured, dynamic matrices that coordinate website and social media content via a centralised editorial workflow for reviewing, uploading, publishing, and organising content. The social media tracking approach functions as a scheduling tool to conduct and monitor the process. In parallel, an article -based tracking system enabling a transparent publication process and coherent content flow.

Quality and compliance for planning, steering, and corrective action

To support consistent, compliant contributions across channels, EffiTorch applies content preparation requirements, including adherence to specified copyright-compliant use of visuals, aligned with European Union writing conventions. In parallel, DC activities are supported by continuous reporting mechanisms that enable systematic planning and tracking of outreach actions, monitoring of participation in relevant activities (such as events and publications), and progress review against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with adjustments introduced when needed.

Data-driven monitoring via analytics and Key Performance Indicators

Impact assessment uses a data-driven analytics framework combining website analytics and social media analytics, structured through a designed Dissemination and Communication performance matrix. The matrix covers performance targets across the project website, social media, print materials, publications (including dissemination through the Community Research and Development Information Service, CORDIS), newsletters, events, engagement, and clustering activities.
