EffiTorch sets the stage for scientific visibility and industry uptake

EffiTorch is laying the foundation for long-term visibility and stakeholder engagement through a carefully designed Dissemination and Communication (DC) strategy. With clear objectives, tailored outreach, and a phased plan aligned with the project lifecycle, EffiTorch sets the stage for impactful communication of the project’s contributions to industrial decarbonisation and energy transition.

EffiTorch’s DC plan is based on a structured and adaptive approach to engage target audiences across scientific, industrial, policy, and public domains. The strategy is designed to ensure that project results, ranging from plasma-based CO₂ conversion techniques to sustainable syngas production, are widely visible, understood, and used.

At the core of the plan is a three-phase strategy:

  • Initial awareness: focuses on establishing project visibility through the website, branding, and social media.
  • Targeted outreach: deepens stakeholder engagement through scientific publications, industry reports, and event participation.
  • Strategic impact: promotes long-term uptake through events, and enhanced digital visibility.

Tailored stakeholder engagement

EffiTorch’s stakeholder mapping identifies a diverse audience, including direct users (industrial producers, Power-to-X operators), indirect beneficiaries (R&D institutions, regulators), public authorities, NGOs, researchers, and market providers. Each group will be engaged through channels and formats suited to their interests and needs, from technical reports and scientific publications to webinars, infographics, and press releases.

EffiTorch DC monitoring framework

The EffiTorch DC strategy includes a robust evaluation framework based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and continuous reporting to track the effectiveness of outreach activities. Dedicated tools support transparent tracking of all communication tasks, including social media posts, publications, and stakeholder events.

By combining structured evaluation with strategic implementation, the EffiTorch DC strategy amplifies project visibility, facilitates knowledge exchange, and accelerates adoption of innovative plasma-based CO₂ valorisation solutions.
